Quiet at our coffee stop red deer on the hillside. Now getting very warm in the sun. Headed into the hills to look for eagles. a white tailed over the mountain and a quick view of a golden eagle further on. Lunch stop and an otter swimming and fishing in the bay. he came closer and disappeared behind the islands. Little grebe and curlew.  Still watching and two more otters appeared. Mum and cub appeared giving us great entertainment as the played and rolled around on the seaweed. how lovely to watch them. Our day continued with black throated diver, black guillemots and a very special sight of a golden eagle that flew in towards its nest and landed on a broken branch. with the sun on it. beutiful.
