Wednesday 26th july Private half day tour

A very wet morning, however by the time I had picked my guests up the sun was trying to shine. Showers and rainbows today. Our day was for a visit to Tobermory and Dervaig, with scenery and wildlife as we went. We started with a white tailed eagle in a tree and very obligingly flew. Common seals and common gulls. Eider ducks and geese all at our first stop. A good run to Tobermory with a drive across the terrace to look over the bay. we made our way across the bay and to the harbour. Lovely drive over to Dervaig, with tales history and geology on the way. Standing stones in the sunshine, dab chicks on the loch. A stop for a snack and cuppa by the bay. Curlew, green shank and oystercatchers. Hill road and views over the treshnish isles and ulva. stunning with the rain now clearing and the clouds lifting.Ease forse looking good after the rain. Time going far too quickly so we headed back to Craignure for the ferry. Jacqui
