Private group out today from the States. With very heavy showers the sky and moody light was lovely. We started with a white tailed eagle in a tree, common gulls, eider ducks and common seals. Artic and common terns. ¬†Fallow deer in the woods, very nervous and didnt stay long. More seals at our next stop and tales and stories on the way. Red throated diver and red breasted merganser. Gannets flying. White tailed eagle in the nest with the chick. Ravens and hooded crows on carrion. Kestrel hovering abve us and the wild flowers are still lovely. Scabious is just appearing and the heather flowering. Meadowsweet everywhere. Final stop and a brief view of a female hen harrier. red deer in the bracken. Jacqui
