A slightly different tour today as I picked up from Dervaig. The bay was fruitful with Greenshank, Curlew,common gull and hooded crow.
This extra trip gave us a run through Glen Aros.Red deer in the hills , stags and hind. White tailed eagle hiding behind the branch of a tree, as the rain dried up he flew lovely.
Heading on with common seals n the bay and goosander. Our stop to look for the golden eagle paid of with the chick on a branch by the nest as we watched it flew.
A leisurely drive through gorgeous scenery, the heavy showers were getting less and the sun came out.
Our lunch stop and two white tailed eagles flew past us.
A rally good view of a golden eagle as it flew over us, beautiful. Red deer on the hills with babies.
we dropped out of the hills and had a very close encounter of a red deer stag and even closer hind.
Almost back and a young buzzard calling while sitting on a rock. feed me!!! Behind was another red deer.
Last stop and common gull, eider and a white tailed eagle in a tree. Jacqui
