Well what a day, Much cooler today and the wildlife was everywhere. Lots of great views of eagles, golden and white tailed. The wind seemed to help as everything was flying. Male hen harrier and female. Great northern divers and red throated divers. Heron flying over and buzzards everywhere. Common seals, common gulls, ringed plover, Turnstone and meadow pipit. Tree pipit and drumming snipe. We watched a mum otter and two cubs swimming, fishing and playing. perfect. Short eared owl on a close post was lovely. it sat for some time to give us chance for a photograph. Almost home, another short eared owl flying and sitting. With red deer everywhere, stone chats and tree pipit, meadow pipit, swallows, curlew, red breasted merganser. Quite a day. Jacqui
