Wednesday 14th September.
Northern route today, and it started dark and rainy. Then it is Mull and very soon the weather changed and the sun shone. A very good first stop with greenshank, curlew, redbreasted merganser, hooded crow. The stars had to be the two otters fishing, rolling about together and enjoying life. Our day continued with red deer stags and hinds, white tailed eagles, golden eagles and a gorgeous male hen harrier. Goosander, eider, buzzards and common seals made it a very good day.
