Tuesday 6th June

The day was very wet, undeterred we headed out and saw a the white tailed eagles on the tree over the nest. Lots of common seals and terns flying close. Other highlights of our day was the otter in the bay. he came quite close giving us a lovely view. The rain didnt let up as we headed to the hills. Through the celtic rain forest and out on to loch Spelve. lapwing, common seals and a distant white tailed eagle. The rain finally lifted and everything came out. White throat, male hen harriers, short eared owls and buzzards.   Its surprising how much you can see on a wet day with red shank, whinchat and stone chat. curlew and common sandpiper. Jacqui
