Tuesday 15th January
A last hour of the day run to Loch na Keal. its brilliant having it so close. The weather was awful blustery wind and heavy showers making you feel like your in a car wash.
Between the showers we did have some great wildlife mments. On the way we saw a red deer stag very close, Great northern divers on the water. We we sat a while enjoying our coffee and left over Christmas cake mmm. Then a male hen harrier flew rather eraticly across in front of us, then towards us and over the car. brilliant.
As in all weathers Loch na Keal looks fabulous with pink patches on the clouds as the sun went down.
On the way home a few fallow deer keeping shelter in the woods.
