Thursday 18th August

With the weather changing and low cloud we set of on our tour. The heat of the previous day had driven a lot of the wildlife under cover. This helped us in our quest and first few stops gave us common gull, curlew, oyster catcher, red breasted merganser. The scenery was gorgeous with the cloud lifting from the trees and waterfalls running well. Ben More Mulls highest mountain stood out with a small cap of cloud in the morning, we lost the view as the weather worsened in the afternoon. The changing colour of the sea and greens of the mountains was lovely. even in the rain Mull is very beautiful Our days highlights included a white tailed eagle chick sitting on a grassy mound dripping wet. poor thing. Two lovely red throated divers and common seals.  Jacqui
