Sunday June 5th

With the exceptional weather over the last few weeks all the wildflowers are coming up everywhere. The sea is warming and the first swim of 2016 was very enjoyable. Mike and I took the tour today and what a great day we had. The day began with a couple of stops on the sound of Mull. With a very sunny day the views across to Morvan were hazy. This didnt stop us enjoying seeing the white tailed eagles sitting high in the trees close to their nests and two cuckoos sitting on a wire close by. The day continued to give us lots of wildlife with a lovely otter feeding just off shore. Our coffee and cake stop was fruitful with a golden eagle flying briefly overhead. Our final stop on this lovely sunny and very warm day gave us really lovely views of the golden eagle flying with the sun showing us its gorgeous colours.
