Sunday 4th September
Our day began with a stop at one of my favourite places on the sound Mull, The scenery is gorgeous and geology very impressive looking to Morvan. Common gulls and common seals, Gannets and a surprise sparrow hawk chasing chaffinches. Our highlights of the day were the white tailed eagle in a tree. A lovely female hen harrier flying across the fields. We saw red deer stags on the hills and some hinds in the fields with calves. Lovely golden eagles in the mountains and white tailed eagles flying overhead. Two otters today, busy fishing in the sea lochs. A lovely day, feeling very autumnal with changing leaves and the bracken turning brown. Clouds lifting from the hills and light changing over the sea.
