Everything out today after a wet few days. What a great day for wildlife. white tailed eagle set us off, in a tree then flying. Lots of stonechat young and adults now looking very smart with their new feathers. There were red deer all over the hills and some lower showing well amongst the bracken. On our next few stops we had lovely views of two male hen harrier and a female. another male showed up. We also had a golden eagle sat on a rock. buzzards very close and common seals. Golden eagle on a mountainside and another flying, Lunch in the hills and and another golden eagle. Red deer on the hills and a short view of blue sky. Down from the hills and a stop to look for otters. One swimming across the bay to the shore. it joined two others and they spent a long time rolling around together. lovely. More stone chats, all around us and red breasted merganser, herons everywhere. Two white tailed eagles flying over the trees being chased by hooded crows. Our day continued with a juvenile white tailed eagle, sat on a near hillside. a team of female goosanders and a distant white tailed eagle in a tree ended our very fruitful day.
