This full day tour will take you through the spectacular changing scenery of Mull giving you a flavor of this magical island through its history, geology and wildlife. Usually we travel a circular route which includes; stories, history , geology and flora and fauna.

Taking into account the changing tides, weather and our guests requests we will stop regularly at places known to be good for the wildlife. We will look for eagles, red deer and otters as well as all the other wildlife giving you chance to enjoy the whole of Mulls natural world.

With no driving for you or providing lunch we aim to make your day relaxed and interesting.

Your refreshments and lunch will include home made biscuits, cakes, hot soup and sandwiches They are produced in our own kitchen by Jacqui. We use local produce wherever possible, even growing our own vegetables in the summer. Most special dietary requirements are catered for.

If you are without transport, by arrangement we can collect you from either Tobermory main (Ledaig) car park, To the right of the Harbour building. Salen, off road parking at our house, Fishnish or Craignure

Please note; pickup from the Oban ferry on a Sunday is not possible as there are no early ferries.

Why not celebrate your special day or half day with us. Enjoy the sights and wildlife of Mull. Your day could include a walk, spend longer in one area, head away from the main route. We are happy to be flexible with times and ideas. Please contact us for a chat. 

From £250 we can offer you a choice of vehicles,

Smaller parties up to 6 guests (4 adults) in our  volvo XC90 estate.

Or up to 8 guests in our comfortable Vauxhaull vivaro minibus 

Both vehicles have good quality binoculars and top range telescopes on board. 

These tours are perfect for groups up to 14 for a special occasion, family groups, specialist groups or a romantic day out.

What To Bring

For all tours we will provide you with:

  • Comfortable transport in our mini bus with seating for 8 guests, large windows and higher seats for good viewing.
  • A delicious homemade lunch on the full day tours, including a hearty soup, cakes and biscuits from our Dungallen kitchen, and hot drinks. On shorter trips we will provide refreshments, drinks and home baking. Most Special dietary requests are catered for.
  • Good quality binoculars to borrow on the day if needed, and the use of our Kowa and Swarovski telescopes, both very high quality.
  • Use of books and charts of wildlife and flowers
  • For families, activity sheets for the young explorer.

Please bring: Water or juice, suitable footwear (strong shoes or boots, wellies for the children if they have them) and clothing for any weather as this is Scotland. Not forgetting the sun cream when the sun shines!

For guests starting the tour from Salen we have ample off road parking at our house Dungallen.

As times and pick-up points may change slightly, we ask that guests who have already booked confirm by e mail or phone a couple of days before to confirm arrangements.
