Wrap up warm and join us for an autumn/ Winter tour full day tour.
This is a great time to be on Mull. Red deer are rutting, otters on the shores, Hen harriers hunting and White tailed eagles around the shore and hills, Golden eagles over the mountains. Red throated, Black throated and great northern divers on the lochs.The migrant birds are coming in and the stars are fantastic on a clear night.

Please note If you are coming over from Oban for the day there occasionally can be cancellations on the ferries at this time of year. We are happy to be flexible with the tour day to make the most of your trip.

Our full day tours (up to 8 hours) are all inclusive @£44.00 per person

Your refreshments and lunch will include home made biscuits, cakes, hot soup and sandwiches They are produced in our own kitchen by Jacqui. We use local produce wherever possible, even growing our own vegetables in the summer. Most special dietary requirements are catered for.

If you are without transport we can collect you from either Tobermory main car park, in front of the visitor information cabin. Salen, off road parking at our house, Fishnish or Craignure by arrangement.

The full days are unsuitable for under 7 years old.

Scenic / Wildlife Tour

This all day tour will take you through the spectacular changing scenery of Mull giving you a flavor of this magical island through its history, geology and wildlife.
We will regularly stop to look for eagles, red deer, otters as well as all the other wildlife giving you chance to enjoy the whole of Mulls natural world.

Boot And Bus Tour

This full day tour is a little different.
Our day will consist of traveling in the minibus to a lovely place to have a walk/stroll.  Either side of the walk we will stop on route to look for Mulls wildlife. Our walk will be for approximately 2 hours, easy and leisurely as we will be looking at interesting things on our way. Typically, on a forest type track away from the road.Please ensure you have strong shoes or boots and layers of clothing. The wind can be cool even in summer. If the weather isn’t suitable for our walk we will revert to tour 1.

What To Bring

For all tours we will provide you with:

  • Comfortable transport in our mini bus with seating for 8 guests, large windows and higher seats for good viewing.
  • A delicious homemade lunch on the full day tours, including a hearty soup, cakes and biscuits from our Dungallen kitchen, and hot drinks. On shorter trips we will provide refreshments, drinks and home baking. Most Special dietary requests are catered for.
  • Good quality binoculars to borrow on the day if needed, and the use of our Kowa and Swarovski telescopes, both very high quality.
  • Use of books and charts of wildlife and flowers
  • For families, activity sheets for the young explorer.

Please bring: Water or juice, suitable footwear (strong shoes or boots, wellies for the children if they have them) and clothing for any weather as this is Scotland. Not forgetting the sun cream when the sun shines!

For guests starting the tour from Salen we have ample off road parking at our house Dungallen.

As times and pick-up points may change slightly, we ask that guests who have already booked confirm by e mail or phone a couple of days before to confirm arrangements.
