The new year

A great start to our year,

Very quiet for visitors now but still doing a few tours. A great one last week. poor weather in the morning, the otters didnt mind though.

Hen harriers and red deer, stone chat, golden and White tailed eagles. The moody skies were lovely.

Golden eagles in the sun. Even on cloudy days they are hunting low

.

Mike and I have been taking time out to go and sit watching wildlife. Lots of great otter moments and a bottlenose dolphin is currently in Loch na keal.

White tailed eagles hassling the otters for food who dont seem to bothered.

The red deer are closer as they come down from the hills. Male and female hen harriers hunting over the ground.

Saturday is the Mull bird club big bird count. Several teams head off to cound as many different birds. Ending up for a count up and cuppa with cake. mmm

The weather has been very mixed, this does give us some wonderful sunsets and fantastic light. Even in the rain Mull is gorgeous.
