Sunday 26th May

A very wet start to our day and a great treat of a mountain hare on the way back from Tobermorey. Common seals and a lovely Goosander on the river and a male hen harrier flying in between the showers.

A quiet morning as the wind blew and the rain dropped, lovely moody skies. Ravens overhead.

Lunch and a great view of the White tailed eagle in the nest obviously tending a chick that was lower in the nest. Another flew towards us. we expected it to drop into the nest area but it kept going.

The weather was improving even a bit of Blue sky showing.

Otters next a mum and cub, lovely watching them fishing and eating.

Another male hen harrier, meadow pipits, lots of oyster catchers and a skylark.

Last stop of the day some linnets, looking very pretty in their breeding pink.
