A Northern run today, and sunshine.
Our day started with a Tobermory pickup. We headed to Aros bay for a scan, red breasted merganser, red shank, geese and common seals started us off.
On to our next stop and two white tailed eagles on the shore, one in a distant tree.
Soon after we found an otter on the islands asleep. it proved it was real as it rolled around for us.
Common seals lolling around on the rocks.
Glorious golden eagles gave us a display over the hills. Lots of eider ducks.
Other highlights of the day: red deer, stone chat, meadow pipit, stunning views of calgary beach, slow worms, and a common lizard. Jacqui
