Tuesday 21st May
Our usual first stop today, The White tailed sea eagles on top of the tree being annoyed by crows. The chicks are hard to see as the leaves are in front of them but we can see them when they move around.
Red deer in the field and a cuckoo calling in a tree. Another White tailed eagle flying across the hillside.
Golden eagle in the hills over its nest site. lovely to see in the sunshine.
Our day continued with an otter fishing out in the bay. More eagles as we drove round, both White tailed and Golden eagles. Helped by some very sharp eyed guests in the back.
Other highlights of our lovely day. Stone chat, meadow and rock pipit, great northern divers and black guillemot. Arctic and common terns terns common gull.
