LOCH SIDE LUNCH BREAK

I HAD BEEN WORKING HARD ALL MORNING AND DECIDED TO HAVE MY LUNCH AT LOCH NA KEAL. PULLING IN AT ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SPOTS I SCANNED THE SKERRIES OUT IN THE LOCH, NOTHING SHOWING. I SCANNED THE SHORE LINE EITHER SIDE OF ME STILL NOTHING APART FROM THE EVER PRESENT HERON SO I STARTED LUNCH. HALF WAY THROUGH A PACKET OF MINI CHEDDERS ( SECOND COURSE ) I NOTICED A SLIGHT MOVEMENT IN FRONT OF ME, THERE NOT MORE THAN 15 METRES AWAY WAS A SNOOZING OTTER. I SLOWLY OPENED THE VAN DOOR AND STARTED TAKING PHOTO’S, OVER THE NEXT 40 MINUTES ( I’M SELF EMPLOYED THE ODD LONG LUNCH IS ALLOWED) I WATCHED THE OTTER SLOWLY WAKE UP BEFORE SLIPPING INTO THE WATER COMPLETELY UNDISTURBED AS IT SHOULD BE.356A7768 356A7673
